that's too bad, the quality of work on these two seasons is the same. i guess this anime really was just a flash-in-the-pan to promote the game sales.

The second season is pretty bad. So many plot holes from the start of season one but i was just trying to ignore it and have fun anyway. Now the queen and her lackey just walk out of prison... What happened to the drak not being able to use their troops without the queen or her daughter? What happened to them being able to possess people? And where are the fanged forms? This just gets really annoying. I think I would have been happier if the queen had just been shot out into space or beheaded. And the random rebel guy that just 3d printed a musashi and he can pilot it just fine by himself. If that's the case why didn't they make ten thousand of them? Oh and what happened to the ability to implant pilot instructions?

i seriously do have to agree with every point you made. :D i've found both S1 and 2 basically... just 'turn my brain off and enjoy' shows. either this is a seriously 'shallow' adaptation to the game's storylines... or it is a craptastical 'original work' that is merely loosely based on the game. the astrophysics impossibilities alone of 'The Hollow Earth' idea to ... what's the technical term that is OPPOSITE of terraforming? ... alienforming? well, whatever the term is, changing the mass of Earth like that... :/ guhhhahhh \: ... the concepts boggle my mind endlessly. changing the mass of Earth. rotational speed. keeping Luna in orbit. orbital speed. orbital path. would Earth stay in 'The Goldilocks Zone'? halting the motion of the tectonic plates due to the utter drainage of the magma the plates float on. loss of gravity. loss of atmosphere. loss of liquid water. loss of climate and weather. loss of magnetosphere. loss of ozone layer. loss of human animal and plant survival capabilities due to atmospheric density at 'sea level' getting lower. the Solar winds would BLOW our atmosphere away over time due to reduced mass and gravity and no magnetosphere. impossibly high levels of cosmic radiation. the insanely SHORT period of time it took this alien species to DIG THAT MUCH MASS OUT of the CORE of Earth. on screen, these pilots weren't THAT much younger when the invasion happened.

i just watch the show and ... hope... it doesn't entirely suck and blow at the same time each episode. :)

With how they portray Griffas being obsessed with Arshem I got a feeling that we would have another Aldnoah Zero ending that Arshem would procreate with Griffas for the sake of their kin then Yamato being left in the dust.

this series has alot of dark themes and a plot unique to me. but they just dont pack a punch. they hit like wet noodles. i dont feel the depth. there no immersion. still i somewhat enjoy it. im just waiting for it to hit. it feels like it will be one of those shows where you wait forever only to find out the season ended weeks ago.
